Freemasonry: Lancashire, a Georgian glazed Grand Sword Bearer's jewel, early 19th century, oval, the gold crossed swords set on royal blue guilloché enamel, with border of 'citrines', the back of gold or gilt-silver, 58 x 40.5mm., suspension loop and ring, extremely fine
This jewel would seem to be for the Royal Lancashire Lodge which received its Warrant of Constitution in 1762 and was Named twenty years later in 1782.
