SELEUKID KINGS, Alexander I Balas. 152-145 BC. Æ (1.70 gm; 14 mm). Seleukeia on the Tigris. Diademed and radiate head of Alexander I right / Apollo standing left, testing arrow and resting elbow on low column. SC -; HGC 9, -. Unpublished. This unique bronze coin seems to have the letters N Delta in the left field, indicating that it is an issue of one of the two Seleukid kings named Alexander. Nice browen-reddish patina. Choice Good VF. Very rare.
