William Joseph Taylor (1802-85), medallist, die-sinker, engraver and dealer, apprenticed to Thomas Halliday in 1818, moved to London in 1829. His business addresses were 49 Queen Victoria street (1830-1), 4 Charles street, Covent Garden (1831), 5 Porter street, Soho (1832-6), 13 Conduit street (1837), 3 Litchfield street, Soho (1837-44), 33 Little Queen street, Holborn (1845-67) and 70 Red Lion street, Holborn (1868-85)
