THE BRUSSELS HOARD. Provincial Mints. Henry III, Penny, Long Cross, type 3ab¹, Willem of Carlisle mint (William of Thiparun), bearded portrait facing, rev long cross, three pellets in angles, 1.41g (Brussels Car 11). Rim turned at top from strike, a little off-centre, very fine, the rarest mint in the Brussels Hoard, one of only ten in this class.
