Cnut, Penny, Quatrefoil type, Spegen of Chester mint, crowned bust left within quatrefoil, +CNVT REX ANGLORX, rev long voided cross with tri-crescent terminals, pellet at centre, over quatrefoil with pellet on each cusp, +SPEGEN ON LEG, 1.33g (N 781; S 1157). Toned, a little softly struck in parts of legend and flan a touch undulating, otherwise nearly extremely fine with a good clear portrait.
