Cnut, Penny, Short-cross type (c.1029-1035), Godman of Romney mint, diademed bust left, with sceptre, +CNVT RECX, rev short voided cross with pellet in annulet centre, all within linear circle, +GODMAN ON RU (N 790; S 1159). Toned, edge slightly bent at 9 o'clock on obverse, otherwise good very fine and extremely rare.
