ENGLISH HAMMERED COINS. Other properties. Henry III (1216-1272), Penny, Long Cross, class 1a (1247-1248), facing crowned bust, beaded circle surrounding, mullet over crescent at top, hENRICVS: REX, outer beaded circle both sides, rev long voided cross pommée, tri-pellets in each inner angle, beaded inner circle, ANG LIE TER CI', some letters ligatured, 1.21g (N 983; S 1358). Weak at centre and a little undulating, otherwise toned, about very fine and extremely rare.
