Edward IV (second reign), Gold Angel, St Michael with one foot on top of dragon, other foot in beaded circle, dragon's tail nearly touches halfway up left wing, initial mark pierced cross (1477-1480) both sides, EDWARD`DEI GRAREXANGL`Z FRANC` , rev ship sailing right with long bowsprit from top right corner of shield, then intrudes legend, large pellet to lower left on inner circle, PER CRVCEM TVA` SALVA nOS XPC`REDEMPT`, 5.06g (cf Schneider 464-6; N 1626; S 2091). Weak in parts on hull and angels face, dig by knee, red tone, otherwise very fine and rare without a pellet in combination with the initial mark.
