Henry VII (1485-1509), Gold Angel, class I, St Michael with one foot behind dragon, other foot breaks roped circle, dragons tail points to left wing tip, dragon with tiny finer claws, initial mark halved sun and rose (1485-1487), hENRICDIGRAREX ANGLZ FRANC , rev ship sailing right with long bowsprit that intrudes legend, beaded inner circle, five line hull to ship with pellets on right half more sharp, h and rose distant from mast, initial mark lis on halved sun and rose (1485-1487), no stops in legend, PER CRVCEM TVAM SALVA nOS XPC`REDET, 5.09g (Schneider 500/-; N 1694; S 2179). Creased and therefore weak on the obverse, residual dirt in devices, bold fine though reverse much better, extremely rare.
