Henry VII, Gold Angel, class III, St Michael with both feet on dragon, wearing armour, dragons tail terminates in field pointing to roped circle, pellets between dragons legs, initial mark pansy with saltire preceding (1495-1498), hENRIC`DI`GRA` REXANGL`ZFRANC, rev ship sailing right, short bowsprit within wire line circle crosses right rope, h crosses rope, initial mark pansy, PER`CRVCMTVA SALVA nOS XPE` REDE`, 5.03g (cf Schneider 518-22; N 1696; S 2183). Excellent angelic portrait, one light scuff near leg, otherwise good very fine, pleasing and very rare.
