BRITISH COINS. AN OLD COLLECTION OF GOLD ANGELS, HALF-ANGELS AND QUARTER-ANGELS. Henry VII, Gold Angel, class IV, St Michael with both feet on dragon, tail nearly touches halfway up left wing, initial mark greyhounds head left (1502-1504) both sides, hENRIC`*DEI`*GRA`*REX*ANGLI*Z*FRA`, initial h of legend struck over cross pattée, rev ship sailing right, bowsprit crosses roped circle, h meets rope, PERCRVCE`TVA `SALV` nOS XPE RED`, 5.07g (cf Schneider 530-2; N 1697; S 2185). Scrape by face and weak in parts, nearly very fine though reverse better, rare.
