Elizabeth I, Gold Angel, sixth issue, St Michael slaying dragon, large wings, tail touches wing tip by inner circle, head touches wing tip, head and lower foot touch inner circle, die flaw on angel leg, inner and outer beaded circles both sides, initial mark crescent (1 June 1587 - 31 January 1590) both sides, ELIZABETH:D'.G'.ANG'.FR'ET:HI'.REGINA., rev ship sailing right, with upright double struck bowsprit, crosses both ropes and touches beaded circle, three left ropes, two right, A.DNO: FACTVM:EST:ISTVD ET:EST:MIRABI'., 5.15g (cf Schneider 789; N 2005; S 2531). Weak in parts, very fine, the reverse a little stronger though striking flaw in the sea, rare.
