James I, Gold Angel, third coinage, St Michael slaying dragon, both feet on striped dragon, value X in field, initial mark thistle over rose, stop either side (1621-1623), IACOBVS D:G: MAG:BRIT:FRA:ET HI:REX, rev three masted ship in full sail left, initial mark thistle, A DOMINO FACTVM EST ISTVD., 4.06g (Schneider -; N 2110; S 2635). Not pierced, good fine but stronger on reverse, Schneider only has one third coinage Angel of another mark, no specimen of this obverse overstrike in the British Museum, extremely rare without a piercing.
