Henry VIII, (1509-1547), Gold Quarter-Angel, third coinage, St Michael wearing chain mail and tunic, slaying dragon, both feet on dragon, tail and head terminate in field, initial mark lis (1538-1541) both sides, gothic letters, hENRICVSVIIIDIGRAAGL, rev ship sailing, bowsprit terminates by inner circle, quartered shield of arms, h and rose by mast, FRANCIEEThIBERNIEREX, 1.18g (Schneider 630; N 1832; S 2304). Cracked to centre, toned, nearly very fine and rare.
