Charles II, Farthing, 1679, short haired laureate and cuirassed bust left, CAROLVS.A.CAROLO, rev Britannia seated left, no reverse stop, date below in exergue, BRITANNIA, edge plain (Peck 531; S 3394). Attractively toned, light obverse hairline mark at 9 o'clock, otherwise a pleasing extremely fine, the finest example of only 8 known.
