George I (1714-1727), "Dump" issue Proof Copper Farthing, 1717, struck on a large flan, laureate and cuirassed bust right, GEORGIVS.REX., rev struck en médaille, Britannia seated left, date below in exergue, BRITANNIA., edge plain (Peck 787; S 3661). Toned, one or two tiny marks, otherwise practically as struck with underlying lustre, very rare thus.
