BRITISH COINS. Other Properties. Henry VIII, Silver Testoon, third coinage (1544-1547), London Tower mint, facing crowned and bearded bust, initial mark pellet in annulet both sides, rev crowned Tudor rose, crowned h to left, crowned R to right, 7.78g (N 1844; S 2365). Well toned, a few light surface marks, weakly struck in parts and very slight traces of verdigris to the reverse, otherwise nearly very fine for this crude issue with a pleasing portrait, rare.
