William and Mary (1688-1694), Gold Five-Guineas, 1691, conjoined busts right, legend and toothed border surrounding, rev crowned quartered and scalloped shield with an escutcheon of the Lion of Nassau, date and legend surrounding, edge inscribed in raised letters, dated TERTIO (MCE 136; S 3422). A few small flan imperfections around edge, one tiny crack into rim and edge, otherwise with usual weak centre both sides, good very fine.
