William III, Silver Crown, 1695, cinquefoil stops on edge, first laureate and draped bust right, rev crowned cruciform shields, Lion of Nassau at centre, edge inscribed in raised letters, .DECVS. ET. TVTAMEN. ANNO. REGNI. SEPTIMO. followed by quatrefoil in broken annulet, pellet stop and another cinquefoil in broken annulet (cf MCE 806; S 3470). Some light haymarking, attractive light tone, one small short scratch at I of HIB, otherwise about extremely fine and an extremely rare variety only recently included in the Standard Catalogue, very unusual.
