William III, Silver Sixpence, 1697, third laureate and draped bust right, rev crowned cruciform shields, lion of Nassau at centre, later harp, large crowns, angles plain (ESC 1566; S 3538). Slightly weakly struck at centre as usual, otherwise extremely fine with a light tone over much brilliance.
