George II, Halfpenny, 1740, second older laureate and cuirassed bust left, GEORGIUS.II.REX., toothed border both sides, rev Britannia seated left on globe with shield, spear and spray of leaves, BRITAN NIA., date in exergue (Peck 870; S 3718). Toned with some lustre, a few light marks, good extremely fine.
