George III, Proof Halfpenny, 1806, struck in gilt-copper, late Soho, small laureate and draped bust right, date below, GEORGIUS III.D:G.REX., beaded border on both sides, rev inverted die axis, Britannia seated left on rocks with shield, trident and olive branch, ships to left, BRITANNIA above (Peck 1373; S 3781). Two small die cracks on the reverse, practically as struck.
