PHILISTIA (PALESTINE), Uncertain mint. Mid 5th century-333 BC. AR Drachm (15.5mm, 3.00 g, 9h). Imitating Athens. Helmeted head of Athena right, with frontal eye, traces of Semitic letter on cheek / Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left; all in dotted square within incuse square. Cf. Gitler & Tal XI.8–10D. Toned, rough surfaces, rotated double strike. VF.
