BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Zoilos II Soter. Circa 80-65 BC. Æ (19x13mm, 2.94 g, 12h). Apollo standing right, with quiver on back, holding arrow; monogram to left; ji in Khaosthi to right; all within bead-and-reel border / Elephant standing right; ṣa and pa in Kharosthi above. Bopearachchi Série 9 (Kharosthi letters unlisted); Bopearachchi & Rahman –; SNG ANS –; cf. HGC 12, 472 (for type). Brown surfaces, traces of stabilized green, some porosity, rough flan. VF. Unlisted Kharosthi letters of a very rare type.
