CYRRHESTICA, Cyrrhus. Macrinus. AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (24mm, 14.13 g, 12h). Struck circa AD 215-217. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing on filleted thyrsus, head right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak. Prieur 916. Lightly toned, some roughness and/or porosity. VF. Extremely rare, three noted by Prieur, and none in CoinArchives.
