SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Trajan. AD 98-117. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 15.03 g, 6h). Struck AD 98-99. Laureate bust right, wearing aegis / Eagle standing facing on palm frond left, head and tail right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak. McAlee 433; Prieur 1491 (Tyre); RPC III 3518/2 (this coin cited). Toned, deposits on reverse. VF. Very rare, only one known to Prieur, two in CoinArchives, and four specimens cited by the authors of RPC, including this coin.
