SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Antioch. Trajan. AD 98-117. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 14.39 g, 6h). Struck AD 114-115. Laureate head of Trajan right, set on eagle standing right; club to left / Tyche seated right on rocky outcropping, holding grain ears and poppy heads with right hand; below, half-length figure of river-god Orontes swimming right. McAlee 474; Prieur 1502 (Tyre); RPC III 3558. Toned, areas of flat strike on obverse. Good VF. Very rare, only two example known to Prieur, three in CoinArchives, and five specimens cited by the authors of RPC.
