SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Gabala. Diadumenian. As Caesar, AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (23mm, 11.71 g, 6h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / [ΔHMAPX Є]Ξ VΠ A, eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; between legs, crescent over crab; date palm to right. Prieur 1090 (rev. legend). Toned, some porosity. Fine. Extremely rare, Prieur did not own this example when he published his book, and two in CoinArchives, including this coin.
