PHOENICIA, Aradus. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 12.30 g, 12h). Struck AD 215-217. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing, head and tail right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; between legs, bull's head right. Prieur 1237. Green deposits and area of copper oxide on obverse, some porosity, yraces of underlying luster. Good VF. Extremely rare, Prieur lists only one example, none on CoinArchives.
