PHOENICIA, Aradus. Macrinus. AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (26mm, 12.39 g, 6h). Struck AD 215-217. Laureate head right, slight drapery / Eagle standing facing, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; crescent between legs. Prieur 1277 (this coin). Toned, some porosity, a couple of scratches. VF. Extremely rare, three known to Prieur including this coin, and one in CoinArchives.
