PHOENICIA, Aradus. Macrinus. AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 12.96 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing, head left, tail right, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; crescent between legs. Prieur 1280. Toned, several small areas of flatness, traces of underlying luster. Good VF. Extremely rare, only two known to Prieur, and one in CoinArchives.
