PHOENICIA, Byblus. Macrinus. AD 217-218. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 12.20 g, 1h). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Eagle standing facing on ground line, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; between legs, altar; wreath in upper right field. Prieur 1325 var. (bust seen from front). Toned, porosity, light graffiti on obverse. VF. Possibly unique, Prieur lists only four examples, one on CoinArchives (Triton XXII, lot 702).
