TROAS. Skepsis. 5th century BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 3.86 g, 11 h). Σ-KH-[ΨI]-ON Forepart of pegasus with curved wings to right; on neck, uncertain symbol. Rev. Palm tree; two grape bunches on vines flanking trunk; all within square linear and pelleted borders within incuse square. SNG Copenhagen -. SNG München -. SNG von Aulock 1575 (same reverse die). Rare and unsusually attractive. A few deposits and minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
