KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes the Younger, 77/6-66 BC. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 20 mm, 7.61 g, 1 h), Tigranokerta or Artagigarta, 66/5. Draped bust of Tigranes the Younger to right, wearing five-pointed tiara decorated with a star and tied with a diadem. Rev. BAΣΙΛEΩΣ - TIΓPANOY / ΔHMO Nike advancing left, holding wreath in her right hand. Kovacs 155. A lovely coin with a remarkably fine portrait. Parts of the reverse a bit weak, otherwise, good very fine.
