SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos III 'the Great', 223-187 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 31 mm, 17.34 g, 1 h), Antiochia on the Orontes, circa 204-197. Diademed head of Antiochos III to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ANTIOXOY Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left, tripod. SC 1044.2. Very well centered on a broad flan, and with a lovely portrait. Slightly rough, otherwise, about extremely fine.
