PHILISTIA (PALESTINE). Uncertain mint. Mid 5th century-333 BC. Obol (Silver, 9 mm, 0.51 g, 1 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves and palmette. Rev. Owl standing right, head facing; to left, olive sprig; to right, tree above four pellets; all within shallow incuse square. Gitler & Tal XII.7O (same dies). Very rare. An unusually sharp and clear example. Good very fine.
