Pupienus, 238. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 2.06 g, 1 h), Rome, circa April-June 238. IMP C M CLOD PVPIENVS AVG Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Pupienus to right, seen from behind. Rev. CONCORDIA AVGG Concordia seated left, holding patera in her right hand and double cornucopiae in her left. BMC 42. Cohen 6. RIC 1. Toned and with a fine pedigree. The reverse a bit weak, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
