Commemorative Series, 330-354. Follis (Bronze, 16 mm, 2.55 g, 5 h), Rome, struck under Constantius II, circa 348. CONSTAN-TINOPOLIS Diademed and draped bust of Constantinopolis to right. Rev. P - R Pax standing front, head to left, holding olive branch in her right hand and transverse scepter in her left. RIC 106. Rare. An exceptional, very sharp example with a lovely green-brown patina. Extremely fine.
