DD NN AAVVGG Diademed, draped and cuirassed facing busts of Theodosius II and Valentinian III. Rev. EXAGIVM SOLIDI / CONS Emperor standing facing, holding labarum in his right hand and globus cruciger in his left. Bendall 13 var. (star on the reverse). An extremely rare variety of a very rare type. Sharply struck and clear, an unusually attractive example. Holed, otherwise, about extremely fine.
