Lower Canada Merchant Scrip, John Molson, of Molson Bank and Brewery fame, Montreal, 15d, One shilling and 3 pence, 30 sous or Quarter Dollar, Proof issue of circa 1837. CH#QC275-12-0P. All these Molson scrip notes are very rare. These were the issues that went into circulation while the family was waiting for approval of their Chartered Bank. AU or better with a light stain.
