FRANCE, Royal. Louis XV le Bien-Aimé (the Well-Beloved). 1715–1774. AR Écu au bandeau (42.5mm, 29.14 g, 6h). Troyes mint; différents: acorn/eagle with wings spread out. Dated 1759/5 V. Bare head left, wearing hair tied with a headband / Crowned round coat-of-arms of France within olive sprays. Duplessy 1680; Ciani 2122; KM 512.21. Good VF, lightly toned. Rare overdate.
