KINGS of THRACE, Macedonian. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 15.95 g, 12h). Uncertain mint. Struck 3rd century BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon; K below neck / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, spear in background; monogram to inner left. Cf. HGC 2, 1750; Seyrig casts (ANS) 124-15 (same dies; 124-15 is a cast of a coin in Seyrig's personal collection). Toned, roughness and deposits, cleaning marks, scrape on reverse. Near VF. Very rare.
