Obverse shows a steam locomotive proceeding through the mountains and reverse shows a long inscription (listing the chief engineer, plus President Balta and various government ministers), commemorating the opening of the Transandine Railroad on January 29, 1870. AU with some rim-bruises, dark rainbow toning over subdued luster.
