Rather large and perfectly square "coin" with five clear stamps, the one in the middle with denomination and mintmark (SILF MYNT and crossed-arrows) and the 4 in the corners with crowned monogram AFRS and 1757 date, all details clear and nearly corrosion-free, rare provenance. With original Arqueonautas certificate #MAI-010/99/20256, and pedigreed to our Auction #5, with original lot-tag #579. Recovered from: Count Ernst Schimmelmann, sunk in 1781 off the Cape Verde Islands, west of Africa
