Obverse with angel flying to right above clouds, blowing horn to left with banner reading VIVA / BOLIVIA and holding laurel wreath in left hand encircling XX / EL JRAL / BELZU within legend EL DEPARTAMENTO DE POTOSI EN and date 1852 at bottom; reverse with radiant temple topped by small sphere within legend AL SER SUPREMO QUE SALVO A BOLIVIA with EN 6 D SEPTIEMBRE / DE 1850 in exergue; laurel edge. Choice bold strike with attractive light toning over muted luster, minimal high-point wear. The temple is a memorial to an 1850 assassination attempt on Belzu. PCGS #32915180.
