KM-802; Dav-2655. Issued for the elector's term as vicar of the Holy Roman Empire. A well struck example, featuring an appealing cabinet tone and exhibiting only light, even wear.

An imperial vicar (German: Reichsvikar) was one of two princes charged by the Golden Bull with the administration of the Holy Roman Empire during an interregnum. Following the death of Emperor Joseph I in 1711, the two vicars were the elector of Saxony and the count of the Palatinate.
