Head of Persephone to left, wearing grain ear wreath and pendant earring; behind neck, crescent. Rev. ΙΕΡΩΝΟΣ Charioteer driving biga galloping to left; above, monogram. Bucetti 1134 (same dies). Carroccio 82 (D39/R61). Jameson 877 (same dies). Very rare. A lovely example, nicely struck and most attractively toned. Minor marks, otherwise, extremely fine.
