Japan Medal for "Continuous Service in Oodji" 1920 Rare
Gold 8,24g.; Inscription on the face: 王子 勤 續 章, in the center - "A medal for continuous service in Oodji". Inscription on the back: 創業 十 周年 紀念 above - "In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of creation". 王子 製 紙 株式會社 苫 小 牧 牧 in the center - "Oji Paper Company, Ltd, Tomakomay branch". Oji Paper Company, Ltd Ōji Seishi Kabushiki-kaisha - the Japanese producer of paper products. It is the 6th largest company on production of paper in the world on total revenue. The paper company Oodji was founded on February 12, 1873 by the industrialist Sibusava Eyiti as Shosha Kaysh 抄紙 会 社. Mills were established in 1875 in the village tji by  王子, at that time the suburb of Tokyo, and in 1889 to in Sidzuoka. In 1893 Sibusava renamed the Oji Paper company after placement of its first factory. Tomakomay is the city and port located in the Prefecture of Iburi, Hokkaido, Japan. Tomakomay was the small fishing village until in 1910 the Peyper Oodji company now "New Company Oodji Peyper" not opened the plant in Tomakomay.
