Arabia, uncertain ruler or mint AR Tetradrachm. Imitating the types of Alexander III of Macedon. Late 4th-3rd centuries BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin headdress / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left, holding sceptre; ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ above, AΛEΞANΔPOY to right, cockerel above B and kerykeion in left field. Apparently unpublished, cf. Price 3332 for prototype. 16.90g, 29mm, 11h.

Very Fine / Good Very Fine; obv. heavily cleaned, wonderful detail to rev., deep toning. Extremely Rare, and perhaps unique.
