About Very Fine; edge chip. Very Rare.

In circa 250 BC Bactria was a province of the Seleukid Empire under Antiochos II. Diodotos initially minted coins in the name of his suzerain but started to assert independence by placing his own bust on his coins. He later replaced the name of Antiochos with his own.
